His Holiness Pope Benedict XV1 is due to visit Scotland and England from 16th to 19th September 2010. In preparation for and to celebrate the visit of the Holy Father, the parishes of Saint Francis Xavier, Our Lady Queen of Martyrs and Belmont Abbey have formed a Parish Evangelisation Team (PET).
This small team is organising a series of events leading up to and following the visit with the intention of re-vitalising the Catholics of Herefordshire and inviting those who are lapsed to come home to the faith.
Everyone, practising Catholics, those who have not practised for sometime but wish to come back and those who might like to explore the Catholic faith for the first time are warmly welcome to take part in these forthcoming events.
